Sweet Ignorance (1/3)
This project was inspired by my outrage at the ethical and environmental impacts of the fast fashion industry. I took inspiration from artist Niki De Saint Phalle, abstract expressionism and the documentary 'The True Cost'.

This is a selection of my developmental samples. I became really interested in using double cloth structes and unusual materials. I also experimented with leather compositions.
Sweet Ignorance (3/3)
This displays my final samples and how I have refined my ideas to create experimental, tactile samples with elements which burst out symbolising my outage with fast fashion's negative impacts. I visualised these in an avant garde experimental selection of clutch bags.

For this project I was influences by sculpture, tactility and a sense of fun.

With my final samples, I wanted to create a celebration of unusual materials and colour. I visualised these final samples as statements pieces.
